An unexpected wedding guest
Raina & Marc hadn’t planned on one guest showing up early to their October wedding: Hurricane Milton. Just days after the tropical storm devastated much of western Florida’s coast, the couple was still determined to tie the knot. Originally planning to wed at the historic Dade City Garden Club—which had now experienced significant flooding and tree damage due to the storm—Raina & Marc now had to find any available space that would host them and their guests for their sweet, simple micro wedding. Luckily, they were able to still carry out their beautiful day at Tampa’s Salvation Army chapel and begin their happily ever after with sunny skies above!

Raina & Marc had always planned a simple and minimal micro wedding, opting for our 2hr wedding photography package. With a small bridal party, simplified decorations, and stress-free catering, their wedding shows that bigger isn’t always better—and starting your new life together is all that truly matters. We loved all the meaningful, heartfelt touches they included in their wedding ceremony, decor, and reception! It truly felt like a heartfelt celebration of their unique love story and, dare we say, their determination to wed despite the odds might be one of the most romantic moves we’ve seen in a long time.
