Julia & Michael had such a beautiful wedding at Casa Feliz this past December! Their heartfelt Jewish wedding ceremony took place just before the end of the year at the historic home venue in scenic Winter Park, FL. The height of wedding season in Florida, December sets a perfect backdrop for a most magical wedding day with crisp air, low humidity and early sunsets.
Casa Feliz, a beautifully restored Spanish farmhouse in the heart of Winter Park, is one of the most picturesque wedding venues in Central Florida. With its charming brick exterior, arched doorways, and blue-shuttered windows, the venue feels like a step back in time. Its elegant yet cozy atmosphere creates the perfect setting for intimate, heartfelt celebrations—exactly the kind of day Julia and Michael had in store this December!

Three emotional reveals
You could feel the excitement in the air as Julia and Michael prepared for their first reveals. Not just one, but three reveals were planned—each one more emotional than the last.
First, Julia shared a first look with her father. As she turned the corner, her dad’s eyes filled with tears seeing his little girl in her wedding dress that she thrifted for $25 (her TikTok about the dress ended up going viral!). They embraced in a heartfelt moment that perfectly captured their close bond.
Next was a first look between Michael and his mother. This tender exchange between mother and son was filled with warmth and love, as she took in the sight of her son on his wedding day.
Then came the moment everyone had been waiting for—the bride and groom’s first look. Julia and Michael met in the wedding venue courtyard, standing beneath the historic archways as their loved ones watched from the balcony above. As soon as Julia walked toward Michael, the emotions took over. There wasn’t a dry eye in sight—guests, family, even we were tearing up!
A chilly but warm-hearted celebration
Despite the colder-than-usual Orlando weather, the love and joy in the air kept everyone warm. After a sweet and touching wedding ceremony, the night continued with the father-daughter dance and mother-son dance, both of which were incredibly heartwarming moments. Seeing Julia twirl with her father and Michael share a special dance with his mother brought even more happy tears to the crowd.
The intimate reception at Casa Feliz took full advantage of the venue’s inviting spaces, with speeches taking place in front of the fireplace, adding to the warmth of the evening. Friends and family shared heartfelt toasts, reminiscing about the couple’s journey and their love for one another.
Dancing, lifting, and pure joy
And then, the real party began. The dance floor was non-stop energy, with guests celebrating, laughing, and—at one point—lifting people up on chairs and carrying them across the room! The celebration was filled with an infectious energy that kept the party going all night.
Julia & Michael’s wedding was the perfect blend of elegance, deep emotion, and pure fun. From the stunning historic venue to the unforgettable moments shared between loved ones, this was a wedding that no one will soon forget.
