Esther & Caleb’s urban glam wedding reception might have been short, but made up for it with sweetness! This beautiful couple met through mutual friends and after a year of dating decided it was time to tie the knot. Now engaged, Esther & Caleb reached out to us for wedding photography coverage for their intimate wedding reception at The Urban Loft by Trellis 925 following a brief, casual friends-and-family-only wedding ceremony. Fortunately, our 2 hour wedding photography package is designed for couples just like them who are looking for a wedding photographer for their short and sweet celebration, and it was a perfect match for Esther & Caleb’s wedding reception photography needs.

Esther & Caleb were among the first to arrive at their wedding reception (minus vendors including yours truly, of course) as most of their wedding guests were significantly delayed due to traffic. We opted to take advantage of the family’s late arrival to hold a private first dance and a bridal photography session indoors and outdoors before the festivities began.

Once the family was reunited back at the wedding reception venue, we captured family portraits in the enclosed courtyard just outside the wedding reception venue. Passers-by on the second floor of the public complex were watching the happenings below (with a few cheering us on!), making for a lighthearted and memorable moment for all.

Back inside, the wedding reception venue was all decked out in glamorous, modern luxe draperies, table settings, and more artfully arranged by family member Micky of Brightside Events. Esther & Caleb’s wedding reception kicked off with open mic toasts filled with the best wishes and heartfelt speeches of friends and family—one of the most memorable moments being a Spanish-only message to groom Caleb from his mother, which certainly left many teary eyes in the room.

As I finished up for the night, I stole the newlyweds away for a golden hour bridal photo session before sending them back to celebrate their special day with their loved ones!

Whether exchanging vows beneath a sheer fabric-adorned wooden trellis and surrounded by the urban elegance of exposed brick, or dancing the night away under the soft glow of market lights, this versatile wedding venue truly can be made unique to every couple. Offering multiple wedding ceremony and/or reception packages, ranging from intimate celebrations to full-service events, with inclusive catering options and dedicated in-house coordinators, you and your guests will be well cared-for at Trellis 925.

Your wedding guests are greeted by The Urban Loft by Trellis 925’s inviting Sojourn Lounge, where they can enjoy cocktails amidst stylish furnishings and reclaimed wood accents. The main ceremony and/or wedding reception space is separate from the lounge, so you can easily hold both your wedding ceremony and your wedding reception in the same room while your guests enjoy the lounge in between!

This wedding venue can feel small, with a maximum capacity of 120 guests, and the location within the plaza shopping center can feel a bit less intimate for couples looking for a more rustic feel. However, it truly sits in a prime location within the metro Orlando area and due to its flexible nature as an event space, is well-known as a popular and trendy wedding venue near downtown Orlando!

Options for bridal portrait photography around the wedding venue are limited, though certainly charming. Not only does the wedding venue look out above an enclosed, fountain-adorned courtyard, but it also includes a scenic dock alongside picturesque Sand Lake for intimate photos. Of course, many couples opt to take some photos inside the venue as well!

Overall, I was really impressed not only by the setup of The Urban Loft by Trellis 925 but also by the team making everything happen behind the scenes. Esther & Caleb’s wedding reception was beautiful, intimate and memorable, and I can’t wait to return to Trellis 925 for another wedding!
